my thoughts. exactly. |
August 20, 2005 i'd like to think i had to do it. i'd like to think it had to be done. i'd like to think it's for my safety. i'd like to think it's for when the time comes. i'd like to think that i wouldn't have to walk half a mile in the blizzard while i'm running a 102 fever, just coz i couldn't get up the hill. i'd like to think that's it's for all of these. and not for anything else. so, bye bye to my c230. and hello to my dear tt. meet syl, tt roadster convertible with quattro drive. older, but drives like new

phil/ej - thanks! i thought so =). kat - yes, the benz isn't a year old yet and i put my reason on the post on why i traded it in. it's not good in the winter being it's a rear-wheel drive. i've had to abandon it twice the past winter coz it couldn't get up seymour (which is on a damn hill). lj wanted me to get the tt in the first place when i was car shopping but i was stubborn and went with the benz only to admit defeat. i loved the benz and i wouldn't have traded the it just for anything. the tt is def worth it. hi G. It's gorgeous! Wish I can have a car like that. I have a company car at the moment so don't have a choice in the car given me but I ain't complaining! Hey, nice choice! While you're at it, you might as well trade in your motorbike ... for one of -->these!!<-- Oops - I think I just drooled on the keyboard. oh i love my mom's c230 but the audi feels better either slow or fast! i haven't driven my A4 3.0 quattro on snow yet but it feels so stable on an open freeway running wAy over the limit:) wise decision G! christine - hey, if i'm given a company car, i won't be complainin' either! lucky! anonymous - i MIGHT take lj's bike next year and he'll take mine to trade in. that is, if i'm ready for a bigger bike. at this time, i'm happy going fast slowly... ch - i thought about getting the a4 and end up with a brand new car. but how can i pass up the roadster? funky momma - thanks! this weekend, lj enjoyed driving it more than i did! he was having a grand time trying to push it to the limit. thank goodness for the other cars on the road otherwise who knows what speed he would have taken it to! hey sweets! long time to tag...but lovely little ride. sure it's to get up seymour ;-) sounds like life's had it's ups and downs with tiny and your new hoo-ride...hope your days are good and that you ride top down with hair blowing in the wind. how california of you ;-) -vdc sweet! the TT was our wedding car 5 years ago! my hubby has since traded it in for something else i couldn't remember, but i'm pretty sure it was another little sportscar!
