"except for maybe one year when i thought it'd be cool to have friends over our new house for my bday and another year when my fam and lj surprised me with a bday/graduation party, i usually like to spend my bday as quietly as possible. i'm not one to command a lot of attention to myself and i certainly don't expect people to get out of their way to make me happy. so you can all imagine my surprise last night when i saw some of my closest friends gathering for MY birthday. thank you for taking the time out of your busy lives to come to the city and joining us for dinner. as cool as the gifts you all have given to me(the tiffany bracelet, the cool funky purse, the sephora gift cert) none of them matched your presence at En.
