had the chance to head out west with a couple of friends for a few days. with me on the trip were esteeb, kat, mark five, lj, solsa, and angie. we had a fun time both on and off the slopes. i did better than i thought, hitting the park on our second day there, and actually landing on both feet instead of my arse. i did the box, the rail, and even tried the pipe - awesome time! needless to say, i was pretty happy with myself since i was expecting to hang out by myself on the bunny slope but kat was like 'you are riding with us, i don't care if i have to drag you myself!'. so i was like, 'eff it, let's do this!' i was able to get over my fear of the mountain and actually ride down with the gang. and when we weren't riding, we were either out on the town having some fine food, or back at the condo playing hold'em. good times!

L A S V E G A S, N V February 9 - 11
i had to leave breckenridge a day ahead of everyone to attend a client's conference in las vegas. the conference itself was pretty cool, i was able to learn a lot about my client's biz. what's even cooler is the fact that aud and chimchim drove from san diego to vegas to hang out with me! we won some money, thanks to chim's lucky $20s (since aud and i were cautious with our money, chimchim gave each of us a twenty to play with and all he asked was his twenty back if we won. both aud and i won more than a hundred on the sluts and we gave chimchim his money back. cool deal, i thought). i had a great time with both of them and was pretty sad to leave them behind.

M I N I A N O / D A S - E N G A G E M E N T P A R T Y February 12 - Yonkers, NY
My good, old friend meems and his fiance sougato had their engagement party in yonkers this past saturday, and i feel very much honored to be invited. back in the days, meems and i use to vent at each other about exes (and how much they suck). seeing her very happy and contented with sougato really made me happy (and emotional). i can't wait to see her walk down the isle and become mrs. das!

from meem's engagement party, lj and i headed out to the city to meet up with esteeb, loan, paul, and mikey and headed out (in a sort of roundabout way) to waverly inn, where we met up with zach and jeff. had a great time with this bunch (minus all the farts) and i can't wait until loan, paul and mikey's next visit!

Wow you won $100 from the sluts in Vegas? I didn't know you could play the sluts like that. Well I guess what they say is true.. what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas..

what a great weekend. i'll have some pics up too hopefully tonight after work.

daym im tired today... im going on 2 hours sleep thanks to a crappy overnight flight from NYC.

but it was well worth it =)

Thanks for getting the pics up so quickly! Had such a laugh in NYC....a big kiss & hug to you and Luke for going out of your way (literally!) to hang out with the tourists and driving us all over town! Who knew being squashed up in the backseat with the threat of Steve's toxic flatulence could be so much fun!
