i didn't intend to be home this early...
but alas, here i am. 10:30 PM and at home. blogging. what a sorry ass i have. i just got back from my company party. not so happening. and i was going to check out another party at friend's house. but this is what happens when u have to stop by at home first. look at where i am. NOT OUT. not my choosing but what can i do. i sort of had to go to the company party this year since my boss asked me to go since no one else in my group was attending (i don't wonder why). really, i wanted to check out cipriani's with aud or maybe trust lounge with mike j (sorry!! I trully would have driven you home if i was around!) but ain't happening as it is. but its cool. atleast i got to go to atleast one party tonight, lame as it was.

anyway, some news for those who haven't heard. i got my car!!!!!! i couldn't wait til may to get replace the cabrio but as good as it was, it just turned into a money pit. you know its time to let go when you spend more than a grand within six weeks on fixing stuff that absolutely must be fixed and still have more than a grand of work pending after all that money spent. not to mention the grand that i spent on the car within the past four months before that. i had to let go of the cabrio. man, i love that car. tiny loved that car specially in the summer time. but, i'm sure she won't have a problem cruising in my new ride (whenever i let her actually ride in it).

so yeah i'm pretty happy with my brand spanking new Mercedes Benz C230 Kompressor, fully loaded with stuff i really don't need but i absolutely cannot picture myself without now that i have them in my car. forget about how it performs coz it drives really nice and have adequate hp for someone like me (you really don't want me behind the wheel of a car with 300 hp, quite dangerous if i may say so), but i think my fave feature is the panorama sunroof package. i have a front-seat retractable sunroof and a rear-seat non-retractable sunroof (does that make it a moonroof?). the heated front-seat is definitely a nice-to-have now that its freezing here in the east coast. the car also came with the entertainment package which includes a harman/kardon sound system with a single dash cd player and six-disc cd changer located in the glove box - better than any other sound system i've had in any other car i've ever owned. the autodimming mirrors definitely minimizes the annoyance factor of driving on the merritt in front of the morons that has to drive from hell to hell's pit with their brights on. there are other cool features so i'm quite happy with the car (not so much with the price albeit i got the car 2G below invoice!!!).

so, i'm trying my best to get in the groove of the holidays. i'm still behind on gift shopping but i've got all the gifts for my godchildren which is a fact i'm quite proud of. i've even started decorating the house. we usually go to the tree farm and cut our own trees but its so damn expensive that this year i settled on picking up a tree at the local nursery. i'm not done decorating yet but what you see here is what i have so far. nice looking tree, if i may say so. note tiny lying down right in front of the tree - its because she had just been scolded after tugging on one of the ornaments and of course she almost toppled down the whole tree while doing that. so she's pretty pissed/ashamed when i took this picture. she didn't try tugging on the ornament again after that but i won't be surprised if i come home one of these days and the whole tree is on the living room floor. and i won't be wondering why.

cani just say how fast blogger is responding tonight? usually after i click on 'publish post' i would walk away from my comp coz i get so annoyed waiting for it to actually post my entry. but for some reason, tonight i click on the 'publish post' button and not even two seconds, its done. must be coz everyone else is out tonight and i'm the only one on the server.

Hi. Wow, what a huge dog. I can't wait to get my own next year. We're waiting until the house is finished. Tiny is verrrrrry cute. I've always loved St. Bernards.
