my thoughts. exactly. |
October 19, 2004 Dumbass conversation him: so let me get this straight. you're throwing a party where everyone is required to dress up but you yourself is not dressing up? me: when did i say i'm not dressing up? him: last week, i asked you if you were going to dress up for halloween and you said no, you're only going to wear a hat. me: what, i can't change my mind? him: i just thought its weird that just last week you were against it and this week you're throwing a party. me: this is my first halloween party. first time i'm hosting. i'm having it at my house so i think i have every right to make whatever rules i want. (at this point i logged off, so annoyed... logged back on after coz one of my teammates needed me online.). him: what happened before. me: i had to get off this thing. him: you could have said you were leaving instead of just leaving. (no answer from me) him: ms. "it's 40-degrees outside yet dressed up as if its still summer" me: (really annoyed at this point) i am not dressed up like it's summer time. him: well, your legs are bare. me: who cares? (btw, I'm wearing a dark gray dress, length is past my knee, with a jacket on top of it and boots). him: well no one here does. you could come in with clownsuits on and no one would say anything me: but i am not dressed in a clown outfit. i am dressed appropriately. if you have a problem with how i'm dressed i beleive we have an HR department that you can complain to. him: whoaaah.. you missed the point, you're getting all upset. me: not upset, just annoyed. him: no reason to be annoyed. i just think hosiery with a skirt at work looks better thats all. no big deal. i was just teasing you about it. you had your chance to come up with something you just never did. him: and btw, i thought you already had someone complain? me: no, its just some chic who was insecure and wanted to wear my clothes but couldn't fit in it. i wouldn't call that a valid complaint. him: sorry, its meant to be funny. are you going to stop talking to me now? (logoff).
